MEN GO THE DISTANCE AT GOLDEN WEST INVITATIONAL

Friday, "the men were reminded of the importance of PATIENCE early in the race", Coach Rob Lander reflected.

For the second week in-a-row, the sophomore trio of David Sweigart, Dylan Arreola, and Matthew Sosa led the five man Panther squad finishing 28th, 64th and 89th.  All three improved their times from last week's preview but came up just short to their freshman finishes.  Freshman Jerry Lopez also improved his time from the preview at Mission Bay.

"The men went out at a blistering early pace and then held on for respectable individual performances."  Both cross country teams now take a competitive break before resuming at the Brubaker Invitational on October 11th.  The IEAC Championship will be hosted at Chaffey College on October 25th.
