SWEIGART AND ARREOLA FINISH 8TH AND 9TH TO GET CHAFFEY A 2ND PLACE FINISH AT IEAC

David Sweigart and Dylan Arreola put forth two of their best career runs today finishing in the 8th and 9th slot and edging out College of the Desert for IEAC 2nd place.  Arreola ran the 4-mile course 45 seconds faster than his Mt SAC time setting a season best.  "The work he's done in the past several weeks is really paying off," commented Head Coach Lander.  Chandler Van Kouwenberg and Jerry Lopez also set season bests with Chandler shaving an entire minute off his time from the first race of the season.  Corey Hagler made his season debut, giving the Panthers a fifth entry and allowing the team to score.

The men will travel to Mission Bay November 8th for the Southern California Regionals.
