MEN TAKE 4TH AT OXNARD INVITATIONAL

The Panther men continued to improve as they returned to Ventura County Friday to compete at the Oxnard Invitational.  The team finished 4th overall with a net improvement of nearly six minutes over Moorpark (8/27).  Leading the pack this week was Joel Magana who crossed first for Chaffey and improved by 1:51 from his race two weeks prior.  Andrew Tafolla started out strong holding to the top 10 for the first 3/4 miles of the course.  He finished 22:09.  Adrian Pou improved by 1:20 for a 22:54 finish followed closely by Sean Castro Melendez (23:57) and Pierce Morrison (24:54).

The Panthers will concentrate on training for the next three weeks as they prepare for the San Diego Mesa course on October 1st.
