Bio

This is Coach Oaks’ second season here at Chaffey College. Coach Lori works daily with all pitchers and catchers as well as coaching bases during games.

Prior to coaching the Chaffey Panthers, she coached 3 seasons with the Diamond Ranch High School Panthers at both the JV and Varsity levels. 

Her longtime career though has been giving individual pitching lessons at The Dugout which her and her husband have run since 2000. She has had the privilege of being a part of many college athletes’ pitching journeys and helping many obtain scholarships as well as start their own coaching careers. 

Before teaching pitching and hitting to other athletes, she played at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, where she pitched and played first base. She was a three-year letterwinner in softball completing her last three years after a season-ending knee injury her freshman year. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies. 

Lori has been married to her husband Robert for 17 years and they have three children: Abigail (15), Ryan (12) and Addison (2).
