The ladies were on the road yesterday for their IEAC matchup with Victor Valley College. "VVC punched us in the gut," commented Head Coach Tasha Burnett about the 58-43 loss.
The team was led in it's conference pursuit by Harjinder Takher with 15 points and 9 rebounds.
Coach Burnett reflected on the first half of the conference season: "We just didn't respond well to Victor Valley. Now, we are fully aware of what it will take to compete in the IEAC. I expect a much better physical effort in the next round."
The team gets a weeklong break from competition and travels to San Bernardino Valley Wednesday for a 5pm game against the Wolverines. This will be the third time the teams have played this season, the first on the road for the Panthers.
