The ladies took charge Saturday against Copper Mountain and did not let go, outpacing the Fighting Cacti in every period of play and claiming a 66-42 conference win. It was the Panthers second win against CMC this season.
Leading the Panthers in scoring Saturday was Elyanna Rios with 17 points. Harjinder Tahkar had the game's sole double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds.
"This game was really high energy," said Ariana Corbin. "I'm really proud of my team, everybody did their part in the game. Literally nobody had a bad game."
The Panthers are on the tail-end of the conference season with games this week at Barstow and Mt San Jacinto.
