It was a disappointing evening for the Panther women as they traveled to Cerritos for their final pre-conference game, falling to the Hornets 71-60.
Despite the loss, three Panthers were double digit scorers led by sophomore Grace Estrada who had the team's only double-double (19 points, 10 rebounds). Laniece Johnson was on the board for 17 and Breonna Martinez had 12. Genesis Enriquez led the team overall in rebounds with 11.
The Panthers open the IEAC season next Wednesday at home against Victor Valley College.
