The Panthers took to the Sports Center court tonight, taking on the Santa Ana Dons in a late added game. Against Santa Ana, the Panthers held their own, commanding a double digit lead to close the 3rd period of play. But, in the final minute momentum swung to the Dons and a series of fouls and missed shots kept the win just out of reach, final score 64-62.
Fatimah Sani had the only double-double for the night with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Breonna Martinez led Panther scoring with 19 points.
Chaffey is on the road tomorrow and returns home to play the final home game of the year Saturday vs Mt San Jacinto at 1pm.
