The Panthers hosted Mt San Jacinto this afternoon in non-conference action, falling to the Eagles 67-38.
The Chaffey squad has been plagued with short-term injuries that depleted the bench and put the Panthers at a decided disadvantage against a strong Eagle offense.
Simply outpaced, the true contest between the teams will come after the new year when they face off in conference play.
Leading Chaffey today was Jada Cuellar with 10 points.
The team travels to Victor Valley for their final game of 2023 and will return home to the Sports Center on the 3rd to take on San Bernardino Valley at 5pm. Wednesday's VVC game is non-conference.
