The Panthers took an early lead and held a strong defense throughout tonight's 51-48 win over San Bernardino Valley to open the IEAC season.
Chaffey outscored SBVC in the first three periods, up 47-34 going into the final minutes. The Wolverines staged a final comeback attempt, closing the gap but Chaffey held strong and saw it through to the final buzzer.
