Women's Soccer opened the 2019 season yesterday afternoon at home against the LA Pierce Brahmas. Returning midfield/forward Karla Garcia-Limon put the Panthers on the board early in the first half followed by six freshman scored goals including three by Jaden Suchanek (Rancho Cucamonga HS) and two from Sherly Godines (Ontario HS). Ariana Flores added the sixth - a shot delivered just after returning from the break.
"Overall we are happy with our first game," said Head Coach Grace Cooper. "Game one is always very informative and allows us to work toward perfecting our style. It was good to see our freshman step up and have a very strong and solid performance. We're looking forward to the games to come!"
The ladies host Antelope Valley next Tuesday at 2pm.
