A 6-0 win at home against Antelope Valley yesterday gave the Panthers' their first shutout and 2nd win of the new season. Less than 10 minutes into play, Neah Hayles and Niyah Sanders posted goals to the board followed by another 1st half point by Athena Contreras. In the 2nd period of play, Sanders scored again along with Ariana Flores (pictured) and Sherly Godines. Kelsie Doll held the Marauders scoreless with three saves.
"The team seemed to connect and work well today," commented Head Coach Grace Cooper. "We were able to work on some things after our first game and it showed! We're very pleased with today's performance."
The ladies travel to Mt SAC Friday afternoon.
