LADY PANTHERS TIE SANTA MONICA 1-1 AT HOME

With their second tie of the week, this time against Santa Monica, the Lady Panthers remain undefeated this season.  Friday afternoon, it looked as if the Corsairs would be going home with a 1-0 loss but Santa Monica's Skylar Voorhees pulled off an unassisted shot at 64 minutes into the game.  The Panthers sole goal came in the 1st off a Mylinda Gomez penalty kick.  Kelsie Doll had two saves.

"Overall we played very well and created many chances to score, unfortunately we kept it close and let them back into the game with an error made in the back. Hopefully this is a learning point.  We have TWO big games this week - traveling to Santa Barbara today and then Canyons at home on Friday.  We're hoping to work through some injuries and battle with these top teams.  This week can solidify Chaffey Women's Soccer as top in the state," reflected Head Coach Cooper.

The ladies travel to Santa Barbara today to take on the Vaqueros at 2pm.
