The Panthers got their 4th win of the season against Santa Barbara yesterday to remain undefeated. Back on the field for the ladies was returning conference MVP Angel Rodriguez who scored her first goal of the season against the Vaqueros in the 2nd period of play to secure the win for Chaffey. The teams went into the halftime break tied 1-1 thanks to a penalty kick by Niyah Sanders. Sophomore GK Kelsie Doll was at the net.
"It was a great team win for us! Santa Barbara is always a tough game and to get a result at their place is great," Coach Cooper reacted.
The team takes on College of the Canyons at home Friday afternoon.
