The ladies opened the inaugural Inland Athletic Conference season yesterday at home vs College of the Desert defeating the Roadrunners 1-0. This was the Panthers fourth shutout this season. Sophomore returner and 2018 conference MVP Angel Rodriguez scored the sole goal of the game midway through the 2nd period with an assist by Jaiden Suchanek. The Panthers had 14 shots on goal.
Grace Cooper remarked, "Overall it was a good game for us. We were able to have many players contribute in today's win. We look forward to playing in this new conference!" The team continues conference play at home Friday against Victor Valley.
