Women Soccer got their 7th win of the season and 5th shutout Friday afternoon defeating Victor Valley at home 5-0. The first four goals of the game were scored within the opening 30 minutes of play starting with a shot into the net by freshman forward Jaiden Suchanek. Madison Orchard, Angel Rodriguez, and Ariana Flores took the Panthers into the break up by four. Neah Hayles scored the fifth and final goal of the game with 12 minutes left in play. Defending the goal for Chaffey were Kelsie Doll and Savannah Ornelas - each had two saves. Doll has started in all ten games for the Panthers this season and has amassed 32 saves, allowing only seven points.
Head Coach Cooper added, "Not a bad week heading into next week's rival game against San Bernardino Valley. I'm looking forward to training hard this upcoming week to hopefully get the win on the road."
The Panthers travel to SBVC Friday afternoon to take on the Wolverines. Valley is the only other national and/or state ranked IEAC team.
