The Panthers closed out the first half of the conference season yesterday shutting out Mt San Jacinto 6-0.
The Panther offense started strong with Madison Orchard posting two goals in the first half of play. After the break, Neah Hayles brought in back-to-back goals within minutes of each other followed by a clean shot by Angel Rodriguez and a parting gift from Athena Contreras to end the game 6-0. Goalkeeper Savannah Ornelas saw little action at her end of the field with two saves in 90-minutes.
Coach Cooper: "I'm happy with the way we played yesterday and the result; we are continuing to play very well. It's exactly what we need going into the second round of conference!"
The ladies are on the road Friday taking on College of the Desert at 4pm.
