friday, the Panthers continued conference play at Norco defeating the Mustangs 6-1. Sophomore forward Angel Rodriguez opened the game for Chaffey with a shot 12 minutes in followed by goals by Niyah Sanders and Madison Orchard. Rodriguez and Orchard went on to score again in the 2nd period along with a shot from Jaiden Suchanek. Norco scored their sole point in the 2nd half of play when the Panthers were up 3-0.
"It was a tough, physical game," said Coach Cooper. I'm happy the ladies stepped up and showed resilience against an aggressive opponent. Overall, we played very well and had some good goals." The ladies host Mt San Jacinto Tuesday.
