The ladies fought hard today come back from a 1-0 halftime deficit to score two in the second period of play against San Bernardino Valley - claiming the IEAC win. Eighteen minutes into the 2nd period, Angel Rodriguez put the Panthers on the baord on an assist by Jaiden Suchanek tying the game at 1-1. Jaiden Suchanek went on to shoot a bomb into the net with less than two minutes remaining in play to take the game.
"They did the same thing to us last year in playoffs," commented sophomores Angel Rodriguez and Karla Garcia-Limon. "To get the win today felt great. We're really pumped up for the last couple of games of the conference season, and ending it as champs."
The ladies are on the road Friday to Cerro Coso and return hom Tuesday for their final regular season home game against Norco (3pm) when the team's sophomores will be honored.
