The women earned their third shutout of the season with a 2-0 shuout win over Moorpark College Friday at home. The Panthers have allowed zero goals through in their first three games of the 2023 season.
Two first period goals by the Panthers sealed the win for the team as rain drizzled down. Defense was on high alert after the break, cautious to not allow a ball to slip past on the wet field.
Friday's goals came courtest of sophomores Sydney Cotter and Isabella Santa Maria.
The net was defended by Jessica Collins and Marissa Betancourt with a combined 5 saves.
The team plays tonight at College of the Canyons.
