The Panther women (ranked #2 in the nation for the 2nd consecutive week) remain an undefeated force on the field with a 3-0 home shutout of Santa Barbara City College (ranked #15).
Against the Vaqueros the Panthers came out kicking with Gisele Speirs scoring her first of two first period goals 13 minutes into play off an assist from Leslie Adalpe. The duo pulled off another goal 30 minutes later to close out the first half.
After the break, sophomore Isis Medina scored unassisted to give the Panthers' their third point of the 3-0 victory.
Keepers Jessica Collins, Marissa Betancourt, and Bella (Isabella) Ortiz shared net responsibility with the Chaffey offense only allowing five shots on goal.
The team plays at home again Friday, taking on Southwestern College at 4pm.
