The Chaffey College Panthers women's soccer team pounced on the Antelope Valley College Marauders (Lancaster, CA) with a strong 4-1 victory. This marks the team's third consecutive win, further solidifying their ambition to become a powerhouse this season.
The Panthers set the pace from the first whistle with Sophomore Saryah Hernandez scoring at the 2:45 mark in the match. Freshman Hannah Gonzales followed up at the 17:53 mark and put the team up 2-0 before halftime. The break did not imapct the Panthers' momentum, as Freshman Evelyn Madrigal added a third goal at the 56:22 point. Freshman Gionna Diez added to the tally in the 65th minute. The Marauders were able to find the net in the 77th minute and denied a shutout opportunity for the Panthers.
