RODRIGUEZ NAMED CCCAA ALL-AMERICAN

Congratulations to freshman swimmer Jaylynn Rodriguez on being named a CCCAA All-American for her performance in the 200 yard butterfly.  Rodriguez set a Chaffey College record with her collegiate best time of 2:26.60 at the South Coast Conference Championships on April 23rd.  Her two first place finishes at the meet qualified her for the state finals where she placed 13th overall in the 100 butterfly.  She also earned all-SCC honors for the 100 and 200 yard butterfly events.

Rodriguez is a two-sport Panther (water polo and swim) and hails from Patriot High School (Jurupa Valley) where she was a CIF qualifying swimmer.
