PANTHERS DOMINATE IN IM - PLACE IN ALL EVENTS AT EL CAMINO
The Panthers opened the 2023 season at El Camino Saturday. With a mix of sophomore returners and collegiate freshmen, six Panthers placed at the season opening meet. Led by Darian Sanchez with two first place finishes (200IM and 300IM), the Panther men look to be a competitive force this season. For the women, 2022 state finalist Jaylynn Rodriguez placed 2nd in three events.
Head Coach Kayle Morris: "We are very pleased with this first performance! Stand outs are Darian and Connor finishing 1st and 2nd in every IM event, Jaylynn finishing 2nd in butterfly and most of all we have relays this year!! We had a few personal bests already even though it was the first meet. We are excited to see what this season brings."
The teams will return to El Camino Friday for the SCC Pentathlon.
