PANTHERS GET SCC PREVIEW AT CONFERENCE PENTATHLON

The Panthers had their first taste of the SCC competition Friday as the teams returned to El Camino for the 2023 conference pentathlon. The teams placed 6th for the women and 5th for the men overall with several top 10 individual finishes including a 2nd and 3rd for returners Melissa Gomez and Jaylynn Rodriguez.
Head Coach Kayle Morris: "We did well for a team fighting the cold that is going around. We were missing a few from being sick and others were pushing through. We are excited to have a week of no meets to try and get through this, and be ready to go for our Mt. Sac Invite."
The teams will tackle Mt SAC on the 24th.
