The ladies returned home last night to battle local rival, and past SCC foe Mt SAC, defeating the Mounties in three sets. "I was really proud of our energy and the competitiveness we exhibited from start to finish," commented Head Coach Gonzales-Harwell. "They maintained their focus throughout the match and it really showed in their individual outcomes."
The Panthers had five hitters over 300 (Mency, Loring, Yousif, Harris, and White). Mackenzie Loring had 11 digs and the team greatly improved their accuracy with only two serve errors for the night.
The team resumes play Saturday at the ELAC Quad taking on Glendale and East LA.
