PANTHERS SUFFER FIRST LOSS AT HOME THIS SEASON
The Panther offense was hot tonight but the Mt San Jacinto Eagles played a strong blocking game to hold Chaffey off and take the match 3-0. This was only the Panthers' third loss this season and their first at home. Kendall Mency led with nine kills and nine digs. Mackenzie Loring added four kills eight digs. Cecilia White had 22 assists.
"The Eagles played the best I've seen them this season, and we definitely saw areas that we need to further improve," said Coach Bri. "We will learn from this moment and continue to move forward as we prepare to compete next against San Bernardino Valley."
Chaffey is on the road Friday taking on San Bernardino Valley. The last time the two teams faced off, the Panthers were victorious 3-0. The Wolverines have yet to win a conference game this season. Chaffey will play their final regular season game at home Wednesday, November 20th in a battle for the IEAC Championship taking on College of the Desert at 5pm. Desert upset Chaffey on October 30th 3-1.
