Before an excited crowd, the Panthers swept San Bernardino Valley for the second time this season. Like las tmonth's IEAC match, Chaffey came out strong and took the Wolverines in three sets.
Set one tonight easily went to the Panther squad but sets two and three posed more of a challenge with the teams going back-and-forth in the final set, ending with an exciting 25-23 finale. Victoria Meneses led the Panthers with 11 kills, .304 kill %, and a block.
"The team showed grit, went the distance and pulled out the win. You can see the maturity and growth the team has shown over the last few months," said Head Coach Rich Huynh.
The Panthers will play their final regular season game at home Monday at 5pm against Mt San Jacinto College.
