The Panthers took on one of their toughest conference competitors last night at College of the Desert, falling 3-2. The Chaffey squad took game one 25-23 before losing the second 22-25. The third set easily went to Chaffey 25-14 and then COD bounced back to take number four 25-19. In the final winner take all set, Desert outpaced the Panthers 15-10.
The Panthers were led by Jeneva Ceniceros (22 digs) and Victoria Meneses (19 kills).
The Panthers are at San Bernardino Valley tomorrow night.
