The Panthers were at RCC yesterday defeating the Tigers 3-1 for Head Coach Taylor Kushner's first Chaffey win. The Panthers dropped the first set 18-25 but came back in full force to take the game in four (32-30, 25-21, 25-12).
Sophomore returner Emily Robbins led the Panthers with 13 kills and 7 digs across the four sets. With a kill percentage of .875, Alyssa Gomez added 7 kills and 12 digs.
Head Coach Taylor Kushner commented, "It was our first win of the season and we won it in four sets after losing the first set and coming back to win the second 32-30."
The Panthers have their next chance to light up the court tomorrow as they head to LA Mission for a two day tournament.
