The Panthers hosted Copper Mountain College tonight, defeating the Fighting Cacti in three sets.
The Cacti put up little defense against the Panther squad in the first two sets but seemed to find their rhythm in the closer; taking the set to 25-19.
Sophomore Emily Macias had a series of blocks and fakes along with three kills and three digs against CMC. Emma Ramirez had ten kills to lead the Panthers in the conference win.
The Panthers return to the Sports Center next Wednesday to take on Victor Valley College. The night will honor breast cancer awareness month, fans are encouraged to wear pink.
