The ladies traveled north to Ventura Saturday falling to the host Pirates 9-8. The second game of the series against Santa Ana was cancelled. Sophomore returner Dominque Bowden lead the Panthers against Ventura scoring 3 goals and 2 steals. Fellow returners Breanna Vander Broek and Brittany Harren added 2 points each to the board for Chaffey. Kyra Jenkins had 8 saves at the net. The ladies begin conference play tomorrow at East LA.
