The ladies traveled south last weekend, taking on Southwestern and Grossmont in tournament action and falling 16-8 and 9-4. Despite the score, the Grossmont game was well played and the women showed great improvement from the first two games of the season. "The ladies played great offense and defense," said Head Coach Kocsis.
Leading the offense at the tournament were freshman Sierra Smith and sophomore Arantza Aguilar.
The women continue conference play tomorrow at Rio Hondo.
