The Women's Water Polo team spent two days in San Diego competing with Miramar, Palomar, and Southwestern and coming up 1-2 over the period.
After a disappointing Friday, Chaffey fell 17-10 against San Diego Miramar and against Palomar 18-10.
Saturday, the Panthers came back with a 9-7 win against Southwestern. Down 7-3 at the half, Chaffey rallied to tie at the end of the 3rd and then outscore the Jags while holding them scoreless in the final period. Madelyn Argumosa lead the Panthers with three goals. Elisabeth Ramirez was at the net for the entire game earning the win with seven saves.
The Panthers resume conference play Wednesday at Mt SAC.
