PANTHERS RUN STRONG AT SO CA PREVIEW (BAKERSFIELD)
The Panthers got a glimpse of what they have to look forward to when they head to the Southern California finals yesterday. The women ran a complete team of nine runners finishing 8th overall. The men ran short with five runners finishing 16th.
Sophomore returners Andrew Tafolla and Brianna King again led the Panthers. King finished the race 6th overall with a time of 19:19.3. Tafolla finished the 4 mile race in 10th place, 21:03.80.

"This trip served as a perfect dress-rehearsal for the So Cal Championships on November 4th," said Head Coach Rob Lander. "There's still plenty of work to do, but now we know we can qualify both teams to the State Championships." The teams will compete next at the Chaffey Invitational on October 8th.
