CHAFFEY/RCC GAME CALLED AT DUSK

Yesterday's softball game against Riverside City started out rough for the Panthers with RCC taking a 10-2 lead in the 3rd inning.  But the Lady Panthers gathered momentum to tighten the difference to a 2 run deficit. The Panthers entered into the 6th inning to close the gap to 9-10 and had runners on 1st and 3rd with only 1 out and were at the top of the lineup (Isabelle Dena who had hit a double in her previous AB), to have a frustrating call of halted game by the umpires due to sunset. The momentum was completely in the Panthers' favor and given the opportunity, Chaffey would have likely taken the lead.  Samantha Warner went 3:4 with 3 RBI's and 1 stolen base. 

The Panthers host former Foothill rival, San Bernardino Valley today at 3pm.
