The Chaffey Panther softball team continues their solid play, improving their record to 11-10 after defeating Victor Valley College 5-3 in their first conference game of the season. The Panthers have now won three games in a row and have outscored their opponents 41-15 in March. Their only loss this month was a narrow 3-4 defeat to Citrus College

Following a tough 3-4 walk-off loss to the Citrus Owls on Wednesday, the Chaffey College softball team dominated in a weekend doubleheader against Southwestern College. The Panthers roared back with two decisive mercy-rule wins, defeating the Jaguars 11-3 and 10-1.

The Chaffey College softball team surged to a .500 record (6-6) with a decisive 10-2 victory over the Los Angeles Valley Monarchs, ending the game via the mercy rule.

After two dominant shutout victories, 18-0 against Taft College and 17-0 against Rio Hondo College, the Chaffey Panthers softball team continued their winning streak with a 4-3 victory over LA Mission, the #19 ranked team in the state preseason poll, on Tuesday.

Chaffey Softball jumped into the season with a three-game opening stretch against perennial playoff and state-ranked teams. An 0-3 start may not seem successful but the results are more complicated than the team’s record.
