Despite a sixth inning rally by the Panthers, Chaffey could not overcome the early East LA lead, falling 7-3 Thursday. Marissa Mendoza, Samantha Warner, and Cassandra "Cassie" Seymour each scored for Chaffey.
The Panthers host Mt SAC Tuesday.
