Chaffey defeated Grossmont College 4-2 in a Tuesday home matchup, moving the Panthers season record to 10-11.
Freshman pitcher Amanda Sera notched her fifth consecutive win, throwing four innings and allowing just one earned run. Freshman Brooklyn Fristrom picked up her second save on the season, throwing the final two innings in relief without allowing a hit while striking out two.
At the plate, sophomore catcher Kalissa Pimentel delivered the big hit, a two-out, 2 RBI double in the second inning, staking Chaffey to a 2-1 lead which they would never relinquish.
Freshman Delaney Barber added an RBI single and while Sera and Pimentel both scored runs.
