Bio

Carey Balderrama joined Chaffey College in 2015 as the Panthers' Head Athletic Trainer.  A former student-athlete, Carey played soccer on the Mt. SAC state championship women's soccer team and at Cal State San Bernardino where she earned her BS in Kinesiology.  Bringing over a decade of experience to the position, Carey has worked as an athletic trainer at D1 and D2 levels including CSUSB, CSU San Marcos, UC Irvine, and UC Riverside.  She holds both an Athletic Training Certification and a Masters in Education, Kinesiology.  Born in Florida, Carey was raised in Hawaii, coming to southern California at age 12.  She enjoys spending time with her lovely dog, Bear.
