Bio

Stephanie completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology: Athletic Training at the University of La Verne in 2015. While at University of La Verne, Stephanie participated in the Athletic Training Club to help raise money for students to attend professional conferences. ULV is where Stephanie was able to get introduced and fall in love with the profession of Athletic Training. After ULV, she went on to Humboldt State University, where she completed her Master of Science in Kinesiology: Exercise Science in 2018. While at Humboldt State, Stephanie helped volunteer in a research project for the NCAA and DOD on concussions. The research project was part of a national collection of data, to help determine the best tests for concussions.  

After graduating from University of La Verne, Stephanie passed the BOC and became a Certified Athletic Trainer in 2015. After becoming certified, she obtained a job at Humboldt State University as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. At HSU, she worked with Women’s Soccer, Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball. After spending 3 years at HSU, Stephanie obtained a job at Southwestern Oregon Community College. Stephanie was the Head Athletic Trainer where she covered all 18 sports offered at SWOCC. In Fall of 2021, Stephanie started at Chaffey College.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and dirt bike riding. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and taking her dog, Ziva, on adventures.
