PANTHERS DROP A TOUGH ONE TO ELAC - IN 3-WAY TIE FOR FIRST
Last night the Panthers hosted East LA in one of the most highly anticipated games in JC basketball this week. The Huskies took an early lead, blowing the game open in the first half and entered the locker room with a 41 – 14 halftime lead. The Panthers won the second half 25 – 23 , but it wasn't enough to claim the victory for the Panther squad. The CHP had only 5 players score, led by Isaiah McCullough with 11 points. The Panthers were dominated on the glass and committed 25+ turnovers. The Huskies won the battle of the big men 29-0. The second round of the 2018 South Coast Conference North season opens up this Friday, with the Panthers hosting Mt Sac at 7pm in the Sports Center.
