KYLE McCLANAHAN SPEEDS TO FOUR TOP 12 FINISHES AT PCC
2018 state finalist Kyle McClanahan again dominated the short-length freestyle event posting a 22:06 finish for 7th place overall. McClanahan continued to wow with a 4th place finish in the 100 fly, 12th in the 100 free, and 8th as the final leg of the free relay with El-Gaouny, Nichols, and Cramton. Also placing in the top 12 for the men were freshman long distancer Jade El-Gaouny with a 5th place finish in the 1650 free (17:36.77 final time down 13 seconds from his seed) and Connor Cramton 11th in the 200 back. The Chaffey men finished 12th overall.
For the women, freshman Isabelle Suter finished 10th in the 1650 free with a time of 21:21.21. Suter, along with teammates Vanessa Murray, Breana Vander Broek, and Briannna Crus completed the 800 free relay in 8th place. The ladies finished in 14th overall.
The teams take a break this week before heading to the South Coast Conference Championships at Cerritos beginning Thursday, April 18th.
