TASHA BURNETT INDUCTED INTO CCCWBCA HALL OF FAME
Women’s Basketball Head Coach Tasha Burnett was honored this month by the California Community College Women’s Basketball Coaches Association for her commitment to college basketball as both a student-athlete and coach. Coach Burnett was inducted into the association’s hall of fame. Burnett, a community college alumna, played two years at LA Harbor College where she led her team to a state championship sophomore year. After Harbor, Burnett attended Cal Poly Pomona and was a member of the Broncos 2001 National Championship team. Burnett joined the Chaffey College coaching staff in 2014 having coached at the NCAA Division I and II levels. Burnett’s experience as a community college student-athlete has allowed her to assist the Lady Panthers both on and off the court as they compete for Chaffey and transfer to the next level of play. Chaffey College Athletics congratulates Coach Burnett on this achievement and recognition of her ongoing commitment to college basketball.
