MURRAY PLAYS AND AGGRESSIVE GAME AT RIO
The women continued South Coast Conference action yesterday at Rio Hondo, falling to the Roadrunners 15-4. Vanessa Murray played an aggressive game with 7 steals against Rio. "She's our energy ball in the water," commented Coach Kocsis. "She played her hardest from start to end."
Compared to earlier games this season, the team has improved their shots on goal. "We're creating opportunities but we need the patience to convert them into goals," continued Kocsis. "31 shots on goal shows we're being aggressive... 4 goals means we need to finish the shots and get them to the back of the net."
The women travel to ELAC Wednesday afternoon. "We need to finish the opportunities we're creating, work on drives and tactical elements and put away those shots so we can get our 1st win of the season."
