Bio

Coach Weiny joined Chaffey College Water Polo in 2014. Weiny was a player for both Riveside Water Polo and Yucaipa High School. As a high school player he was chosen for the Division VI All-CIF 1st Team in 2003, Division VI All-CIF 2nd team in 2002, and San Andreas All-League 1st team in both 2002 and 2003.

Weiny’s coaching experience includes Head Girls Coach/Assistant Boys Coach, Beaumont High School 2009-2012. The Beaumont Cougars were 2011 CIF Division VI Water Polo Champions and Mountain Pass League Champions from 2010 to 2012. He also was the Head Coach/Program Coordinator for Yucaipa Water Polo Club 2009 to 2013, Head Girls Coach, Yucaipa High School 2012-2013, Head Coach/Aquatics Director, Corona Centennial High School 2013-2014 and Head Coach/Program Coordinator, Eastvale Water Polo Club 2013-2014. 

Outside of Chaffey College, Weiny is currently the head coach for the 16 and under girls and assistant coach for the 18 and under boys at Foothill Club and referees high school water polo games. Additionally, Weiny works in the Olympic Development Program as a coach for the Developmental and Youth levels.  In the summer of 2017, Coach Weiny won a gold medal as an assistant coach for the Men's Youth National Team at the UANA Games in Lima, Peru.

Coach Weiny’s educational background includes a B.A. in English Literature from California State University, San Bernardino and a M.A. in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University, Irvine.
