Chaffey College women's basketball player Ty Peters has been named the Kinesiology Student of the Year from the California Community Colleges Physical Education, Kinesiology, and Dance Association (CCCPEKD).

The Inland Empire Athletic Conference has announced the 2024-2025 All-Conference team, with five players from the Chaffey College receiving honors.

Rebounding from a tough 43-40 loss against Mt. San Jacinto College on Monday, the Chaffey women's basketball team roared back with a decisive 88-42 victory over San Bernardino Valley College.

A few days after beating Saddleback College 57-48, the Panthers dropped a winnable game against conference foe, Mt. San Jacinto College 70-64 in overtime, bringing their overall record to 6-6.

Heading into December with a 4-3 overall record, the Chaffey women’s basketball team continue to try and find a way to put together a prolonged winning streak. For that to take place, consistency is still something they are searching for.

Riding high after a convincing victory against Riverside City College last Wednesday, the Chaffey College Panthers (3-2) are set to face the Santa Ana College Dons (4-1) on the road today at 6:00 p.m. The Dons are coming off their first loss of the season, a 52-36 setback against Cuesta College on Saturday.
